Takakura-san, a Japanese artist will be in Kuala Lumpur from 23 – 27 Jan 2014.

BRIEF:
- Takakura-san was brought up in a family who was in the business of textiles
- From his Kendo martial art practices, he got his inspiration to translate his strokes onto merchandise
- He opened Takakurazome in Kyoto, Japan.
- He has now expanded overseas from his Japanese homeland, with his flagship international shop in Parkamaya, 3F fahrenheit88.
- He will be conducting live demonstrations on how he translates his art onto merchandise at his shop at Parkamaya, 3F, fahrenheit88, 23 – 27 Jan 2014, noon – 7pm.
- We would like to invite Streets on Friday 11.30am to witness his art making, and interview him exclusively one-on-one. If you can’t make it then, we can always make arrangements for a suitable time between the dates and time that he will be at his shop.
