Halloween BBQ Night

The newly elected ID club members decided to “wake up” the College atmosphere and organized an almost full day event. They kicked off with the sales of baked goodies such as cupcakes, popcakes & brownies; an afternoon of evil delights before the “spirits” come alive at night.

Just before sun down, there were tombstones & blair-witch like remains scattered around the College compound. And while the projector screen was being setup (for an outdoor movie screening of the French version of THEM; ILS) “doors were slamming”, “werewolves were howling”, “people were screaming”, sounds of “floorboards being scratched” were punching thru’ the air – ah! It was only some special sound effects to get the crowd into the Halloween mood.

Even the rain did not dampened the spirit of the night as the BBQ fire kept burning, more skewered food were served while the crowd was now watching the movie indoors. The night ended with a best Halloween costume competition and for the Interior Design students, they went for the challenge of how to wear their IDEAS club polo tee the scariest.

Congratulations to all the winners and well done ID Club for successfully “disturbing” the usual peaceful & quiet night at the College.
