Graduates of Raffles Design Institute Kuala Lumpur showcased their collections and talent at the 20th graduation fashion show and exhibition at the J.W. Marriott Hotel Kuala Lumpur.
The theme ‘EUPHORIA’ perfectly described the intense, transcendent happiness of our students as they embark into their professional careers – they were overwhelmed with a sense of well being, bold enough to set new trends, daring enough to defy all odds and brave enough to take risks that will eventually be rewarding for each of them.The graduation demonstrates the graduates’ talent and marks the start of their contribution to the design industry.13 Fashion Design students showcased their designs on the catwalk, translating their inspiration and talent into wearable art that comes straight from the creative bone.5 Fashion Design & Marketing demonstrated their versatility and integrity in design and business through conceptual projects.Displaying talent and flair for retail marketing were 3 Fashion Marketing & Management students. They presented a potential new business for the retail industry that they have developed after months of preparation.Also on display are the visually pleasing concepts of 10 Interior Design graduates who have applied what they have learned into aesthetics, bringing interior, product, and colour to life.8 Visual Communication students will exhibit their visual solution knowledge and skill in various medium like packaging, advertising, brochures, signage and corporate identity.3 Interactive Media Students who love technology and have the creative passion of an artist showcase their talent in animation, media production and web design.
